For some reason, I decided that since I have three books in the LiR series, I would call them, The Rise of the Queen, the Rise of the Warrior, and the Rise of the Empire. Pretentious and/or melodramatic? Anyway, I thought it might be an easier way to designate which book is which. My next chapter was sent to the editor just before Christmas and will be posted when I get it back and make corrections, many corrections. Thanks for reading!

I noticed that one of the writers that inspired me to write LiR, Nick Scipio, is again posting chapters in his 'Summer Camp' series, which he began posting long before LiR! I think it was 2002!

It's the time of year when a person should consider the things that are going well in their life. Family, friends, and good health are all we really need. It's my hope that everyone has family and friends that care about them.

I have my next chapter of LiR 3 with Tex Beethoven, who edits it for me. I should post it before year's end. Thanks for reading and for your patience. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I have resumed writing, but in fits and starts. Ever since Irma ravaged Florida, I have felt a bit unsettled. We evacuated to Georgia, near Atlanta, and have long since returned and cleaned up trees and limbs. My only problem now is regaining focus and purpose. I feel it's returning and I have been working on my next chapter, along with a short western story for an invitational. I thank everyone for their patience and support and want very much to get a chapter out by month's end. Thanks!

Summer has been very good to me. I had a nice 2 week vacation and have been spending time with family. As one ages, time becomes far more important than money and time with family is the best.

All of that said, I plan to diligently work on and complete my next chapter in LiR 3 within days and get it edited and out. Back to work for me. Thanks for the interest and the encouragement.

I have been asked about the future of Lena and Saint. Their adventures will be separate from this series, and involve incredible heroics, sacrifice, compassion, and will take place in a world far different than the one their parents know.

I should be posting the next chapter of LiR this week. Once Tex sends the edited version back and I make the corrections, I'll post it. Thanks for your patience.
