I finally finished another story. Sorry, I tend to wander from story to story, writing and chapter here and another there. Once in a while, much to my surprise, one is actually finished.

This tale is my first attempt to write a horror story. Hopefully it came out well. This story is also the first of the stories that link Amateurs and Acceptance together. The Commander Rose mentioned in the story is Becky from Amateurs. Governor Char is the former concubine Char from Acceptance. She has given up her original last name and taken her old nickname,Char (short for Charlene or Charles as the mood takes her) as her official name in memory of what happened on Quay.

Hopefully I'll get my next story, Integration, finished in the next month or so. That is the story of Becky and the ninjas trying to fit into the Confederacy.

Well, it seems the Fates are done playing with me for the moment. After surviving my first Christmas alone in twenty years, its time to go back to writing. I'm in such a happy place that its time to write the scene where Becky meets Char, and where Seiji attacks Xifeng. Hopefully I'll get the story done and edited in the next month or two. I am truly sorry its taken so long.

So its been a while since I last posted anything, or even wrote anything. This summer saw me cruising in the Mediterranean, get devorced, live homeless for two months, get a promotion at work to manager and I made new friends as I became more social. Too much changed too quickly and I am just finally catching my breath. I have several stories in the works that will hopefully appear in the near future. Sorry about the long dry spell.

Its funny, each story I post is finished in my mind, but every time I get a bunch of emails saying something to the effect of "great start, now what?" Amateurs, Hunter/Prey and Acceptance were all supposed to be finished. Apparently not ;-) I'm starting the sequel to Amateurs now, as well as three other stories. I may have to start killing off characters to keep from having to write sequels, lol.

Please feel free to send me feedback, good or bad. If you want to gripe at me, cool. Best way to learn is to have people tell you what they do and don't like.

Hunter/Prey was just a quick exercise in writing meant to clear my head when I got bogged down. My new Swarm story, Acceptance, should be up within the week. Its FAR longer than my other stories and is NSFW which is also new for me. I hope you like it.
