I haven't submitted any writing for quite a while because of several health problems I am suffering. I hope my situation stabilizes soon and I can resume writing. When it does, I intend to work on what I consider my two best stories, The Alpha Male Factor and The Artifact.
The Black Stone is an old story that has been lingering on my hard drive for more than a year. It was intended as a first chapter in an historical series describing civilization developing with the help of individuals changed by the Black Stone. Some day, I may write more chapters, but can't say when, so I'm posting this chapter as a stand alone.
