Sorry about the long wait, but the eighth chapter have Paradise In A Name has finally been submitted to the mods for posting. I know it's been several months since I last posted, but for various reasons my life sort of fell apart, got bombed, and then was nuked from orbit just to make sure they'd gotten all the ashes. But the good news is that about 90% of the fires have been put out, and the remaining 10% have been repurposed for hot dogs and smores. So with that in mind, I should be able to start posting much more regularly again.
Sooo, today's post was supposed to be the eighth chapter of Paradise In A Name. I've been working on both that and the next chapter of the Pornomancer series side by side, and Paradise has just shy of 8,000 words while the Pornomancer has something like thirty-six handwritten pages waiting to be typed. Both stories have just reached the point where the protagonists shed their clothes, hop into bed, and do the sort of things that people come to this site to read about.
So no sooner do David and Parisa climb into bed together when my muse goes, "Oooooh, I got a better idea!" I had spent all weekend trying to get them to that point, but nope, wasn't going to happen. So instead six hours, 7,300 words, and one name change later I have the first chapter of Skinner Box written. Yes, it is marked Too Be Continued, and it will be. Right now it is going to end up sharing the slot in my writing schedule that the Fallen Earth stories occupy.
And if you're sitting there thinking that maybe one person shouldn't be trying to write all these stories at the same time, and should focus on just one until it is finished...I absolutely agree with you!
Just try to convince my muse of that.
Chapter 3 of the Pornomancer series has now been submitted for posting. Once again, my ability to write simple porn has been forced to suffer my need to write plot, and unexpected developments are now occurring. For those who are looking forward seeing what comes next, tough!
Instead, the next chapter of Paradise In A Name is on the docket, picking up where we last left Sam. How I managed to find myself juggling multiple series at the same time is a long and complicated story involving a cranky red dragon, several nuclear weapons, and far too many Harry Potter fangirls.
My cat is now glaring ominously at me, which is her way of telling me to go to sleep so that she can use me as a bed. Before I bow to the inevitable and obey my feline overlord, here's a link to a bit of artwork for the latest Pornomancer chapter!

The issue with italicized words all coming up as dinner has been corrected, at least when I check it on my phone. As of right now, all dialogue and descriptions should read normally
It looks like something went wrong with the html file that was uploaded for chapter 5 of Paradise In A Name, and all the italicized words got replaced with "djinn" instead of what should be there. I'm going to be pulling the chapter till I can figure out where the issue occurred.
