I'm going to have to think of another way to announce chapters.
One thing about dealing with aliens, they can really make a mess of things while trying to make you look impressive. Hopefully the results aren't long lasting.

It's been a heck of weekend. First we were supposed to get a direct hit from Joaquin, then the roof of my storage shed starts leaking. I got a tarp on the shed, but that's going to need a complete new roof. At least J decided to head out to sea.
Edit: chapters 1 thru 5 have been reposted. Hopefully all grammatical errors have been cleaned up. There were a few places where additional information was added to clear up some grey areas. A big thanks to my proofreader, Going Forward 55.
Chapter 15 is at the proofreader so should be up soon.

I'd like to thank my new proofreader for making sure all my ducks are in a row. Hopefully the story will read better grammatically.
Thanks to you, my readers, for putting up with my errors for the first 13 chapters. My proofreader is going over those and I will be reposting them when they are done.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy chapter 14.

I finally took the advice of my readers and now have an editor. He promises fast turnaround so there shouldn't be much delay in postings.
So far it seems everyone thinks Emily, Kendra, or both are in the stasis container. Marie ws also mentioned. Another reader suggested perishable seeds and such. Someone else suggested livestock or animals.
All I will say is that what is in there is alive. Hopefully Andy remembers it's there.
