Around the Salish Sea
Geographically, the Salish (say lish) Sea includes Puget Sound, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the waters around the San Juan islands and the Strait of Georgia. In some cases the geography has been tweaked a little, but mostly nothing a reader would notice if they weren't intimately familiar with the area.
Socially, these stories take place in a slightly more accepting era. Same-sex relationships are, if not the norm, at least normal enough to be mostly unremarkable for most people. You may notice characters being shared between stories, though they may not play a major role in stories not focused upon them.
