Tracy needs a job, fast, before he and his mom get kicked out of their apartment. The boss of the Big Dipper Ice Cream Emporium offers him a job. Tracy can serve ice cream, so long as he wears the same uniform as all the other employees: beige blouse, pink skirt. Tracy has to choose: he and his mom live on the street, or he wears a skirt in public. He makes his choice, and the choice changes him, maybe for good.

A lighting strike changes Rick's life forever, solving his old problems and creating new ones at the same time.
