So a kingdom was lost-all for want of a nail. Sometimes a minor thing can have great consequences. The death of the eldest son of James I of England allowed his brother Charles to take the throne and civil war ensued. Not a story as such but a timeline of what might have been...

Based around Elliot's 'Holiday with Sister' This is my take on just what happens if a couple of step-siblings end up going on a holiday together. I wasn't able to contact the guy, but hope he doesn't mind.

Paths not taken
Evil deeds are not (mostly) the province of the deranged or extravagant. The greatest evil can and is done by those to whom society would view as model citizens.

Just how far will a man go to obtain justice? Framed for a crime he didn't commit, a man is prepared to wait years for an opportunity to hit back at those who took his freedom as if it were nothing at all.

The claim is often made that someone knows you better than yourself. Sometimes you have to start the ball rolling and be prepared to be persistent until they see things your way.

Having been alerted by allies to a hostile culture the Council of the Wise has decided to take a look as to whether or not this culture is a threat. A team is being assembled and journeyman Mage John asked to go as aide to Mage Roxanne. The threat turns out to be very real, and, rather than just observe, the Mages and their allies are drawn into the conflict against a foe whose numbers dwarf humanity. Story stands alone, but readers of Magician will know the characters better.
