A short fictional story about a character in a book I am writing. Then the true story behind it.

A naive young man from a wealthy family becomes a target for a group of con artists. His family eliminates the threat.

A short story about my favorite 'type' of attorney. He helps his client beat a murder charge with a novel idea.

A murderer escapes jail on Halloween night! Not all codes are checked.

The backstory of two characters from my book. The first is about a girl who is sold into prostitution and how she manages to escape. The second is about a young man who witnesses a murder and is put into witness protection.

Sheriff Bull is again able to help out a rich family.

What would you do to protect yourself and the ones you love? Me? I'll shoot you and your wife to stay alive...wait, I've already done that, the Marines gave me a medal. This is another couple of stories about surviving.

A story of revenge.

This is something new for me (and this site, I think). I first wrote this as a 'story' and didn't like it. I rewrote it as a short 3 act play, using more dialogue to define the characters. I'll be back to my usual dribble next time.
