Moments In My Mind
We live in a world in which all of the innocence and wonder of childhood has been replaced by facts and science. We believe that what we see is real, and what we are taught is true.
What if it was all a lie? What if what you believe is only part of the truth? What if... the next time you blinked... a new world was revealed to you? What if those who are in charge, the real ones in charge, didn't want you to see it or feel it or become a part of it?
Would you still want to know?
These moments in my mind are glimpses into that realm. It's a place where the boogie man is under the bed, the government is hiding the truth from you, magic and science do battle in the shadows of the world that you are living in now, and love is the most powerful force ever known.

Some of my stories are set in or around the fictional city of Highland, NY. I needed a setting to stage them, so my answer was the city of Highland.
Highland City is roughly the size of Philadelphia, PA and located within a valley in upstate New York. Like most medium sized cities it has many suburban neighborhoods, row-homes, housing projects, tall office buildings, and gated homes nestled in the surrounding hills. Several smaller towns are also nearby, close enough to commute into Highland for work, but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of big city life.
