These are stories I've enjoyed, and have been known to re-read as well. This list is just a grab-bag of favourites with no other underlying theme.

1 - New Computing World by Ernest Bywater

You'll love how "Big Tech" and "Big Corporate" get clobbered. Anyone reasonably connected to the IT industry will recognise the players and the "in-jokes" involving the players' names!

2 - The Reset Manifesto by Lazlo Zalezac

If you've looked at the way the modern world is changing (devolving?), one could but wish that the events in this story would come to pass.

3 - Magician by QM

A well thought out approach to what "magic" is and how it can be used.

4 - Mage by QM

Another in QM's "Magic and Magical Beings" Universe. As always, well written and eminently enjoyable.

5 - The Cure by QM

A weird premise on a true "universal cure", but the tales and Universe in which it's placed is well written and internally consistent.

6 - The Healer by QM

Another story in QM's "The Cure" Universe.
