After only being together a month, it didn't seem like it should be so hard to say good-bye at the airport, after all, it was only going to be for three weeks ... but it was hard ... terribly hard, for both of them.

Bill had tears in his eyes when he took her in his arms and kissed her good-bye. Amber, trying to put on a brave face, forced a smile and gently wiped them away. "I'll be back, darling," she said.

Amber looked into his teary eyes and knew she had to tell him; he needed to hear it and she needed to hear herself say it. She smiled and, with her index finger, motioned for him to lower his head closer. "I'm going to tell you something I've never told another man," she said. She moved her lips until they touched the lobe of his ear. "I love you," she whispered.

Bill's heart almost leaped from his chest. He grabbed her and pulled her tightly against his body. He lowered his lips to hers. He didn't need to speak the words, his kiss told Amber he felt the same way about her.

Amber sat looking out the window at nothing but darkness and allowed the drone of the jet engines to take her back to the previous night. Bill, trying to be brave, brought a bottle of champagne for the evening. He set up a little stand and placed the bottle in a carafe of ice next to the bed to chill.

As Amber walked into the room he took her by the hand and led her to the side of the bed. She turned her head slightly to give him better access as he started to nibble her left ear lobe. He gently caressed her neck with kisses so light and sensual, it sent little electric shocks through her body. Her head fell back as she swooned closing her eyes. She felt his hands slowly undressing her, inch by inch he seductively removed her clothing. She turned to face him. Their lips met, she undid his shirt then ripped it off his shoulders. Amber's whole body was already burning with passion. She wanted her man now!

Bill could read the fire in her eyes. Tonight would not be the slow, romantic love making he was so good at, tonight would be pure, unadulterated passion, wild, lustful, passion. The remainder of their clothes went flying. Bill grabbed her tiny red panties, the only article of clothing left that was still in contact with her soft skin, and literally ripped it from slim hips. No foreplay was needed. He positioned himself between her legs and slid his hard cock into her with ease. "Oh God," she cried out, "fuck me, honey, fuck me hard."

With his hands on the bed above each of her shoulders, Bill arched his back with each thrust, pushing deeper and deeper into her welcoming womb. Amber's breathing became short and erratic. Her fingernails dug into his back as she felt her orgasm building quickly. She screamed and grabbed her man around his neck as she climaxed in a frenzy of pleasures like nothing she had ever known.

At the same time every muscle in Bill's body strained as his cock irrupted over and over and over again. Finally they collapsed, their spent, sweaty bodies intertwined with the flesh of the other.

As their breathing returned to normal Bill reached over for two glasses and the champagne. They both sat up, leaned against the headboard, and made a toast to each other. As Amber sat sipping her bubbly and enjoying the intimacy of the moment she realized, in spite of having sex with many, many men in her past, she had never experienced the same feelings as she did with Bill and she knew the reason why, she had never loved anyone before.

Amber was awakened from her trance like state as the flight attendant asked if she would care for a pillow. Amber smiled up at her, took the pillow with a thank you, propped it in the corner between her seat and the wall, where laid her head. She was embarrassed when she realized how wet she was from her thoughts of the night prior. She still had five hours before landing, she drifted off to sleep with a smile on her lips.

The plane jostled a little as it touched down at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Amber opened her eyes and watched as the big jet maneuvered its way up to the tarmac and came to a stop with the hissing of the airbrakes. Amber was four thousand miles from Bill and had to get into her working persona. Being a model was more than just posing, it was a mind set, a whole way of life and she had to forget about Bill right now and do her job.

She worked her way to the baggage claim area and had just started looking for her luggage when she heard a familiar voice from behind her.

"There's my little pet," he said, while resting his hands on her shoulders and lightly kissing her on the neck.

Amber immediately took a step forward and turned away from his romantic greeting. "Jon Paul," she said a little surprised he was at the airport, "what are you doing here?"

"What kind of greeting is this," he said a little take aback, "we haven't seen each other in almost a year and this is the greeting I get? What, no kiss?"

"I'm just surprised to see you, that's all," said Amber. She was really hoping not to see him at all this trip, although she knew that was highly unlikely. She certainly didn't expect to see him this early though. They had, had an on and off relationship for years and, although it was nothing like she had with Bill, she did have feelings for Jon Paul.

Jon Paul, on the other hand, was a egomaniac, a French playboy who's only true love was himself. He measured his life by the number of notches on his bedpost, each one representing the many, many international fashion models he was able to seduce. Amber never kidded herself about that and knew him for what he was, but in some sick kind of way, that was part of his allure.

Jon Paul already had Amber's bags and was walking them toward the exit. "Come on," she said, "my car is right outside the door."

As soon as they were out the door Amber spoke up. "Jon Paul, why don't you just set the bags down here," she said, "I'll just get a cab to the hotel."

Jon Paul looked at her with wonder in his face. He had naturally assumed she would be staying with him again. "What do you mean a hotel," he said a little sharply, "you're coming to stay with me."

"No I'm not," she said in a matter of fact voice, "I'm staying at the Villa Royal Montsouris. Either you take me there or I'll catch a cab."

Jon Paul had to look at her to see if she was serious, she was. "Okay," he said a little reluctantly, "I'll take you to the Villa Royal. What's wrong with you, did I do something wrong."

"No, Jon Paul," she said a little ashamed of her harsh tone, "it's just ... well, I met someone. He name is Bill and I love him to death."

The minute Jon Paul heard this he considered it a challenge. Amber had never been able to resist his charms before, now that she is in love, that makes her seduction more of a contest, a contest between her love for this Bill, and his immeasurable charisma, at least that was the way he saw it.

Jon Paul drove Amber to her hotel and helped her get situated. To Amber's delight, Jon Paul did not try to romance her. He knew he had three weeks, but this was something he had to do. No man would take one of his pets from him unless he was willing to hand them over. He would have Amber one last time just to prove he could do it, then he would hand her over to this Bill in triumph.

After Jon Paul left, Amber looked at the clock on the night stand. It was one o'clock in the afternoon. She calculated and knew it was just seven a.m. in Chicago, just about the time Bill will be getting ready for work. She pulled out her cell and a small thrill went through her body as she dialed his number.

When Bill heard his phone ring he knew it was Amber by the special ring tone he had picked out specifically for his love. "Hi gorgeous," he answered.

"Bonjour," she said with her fake French accent, "and how is my wonderful man this morning?"

"Now that I've heard your sweet voice," he said, "I feel wonderful." He could almost feel her smile from the other end of the phone.

Amber knew his time would be short. He had to get to work, but she wanted to let him know she got there safe and sound and she wanted to thank him again for the wonderful evening. She told him she dreamt about it all the way over the Atlantic Ocean.

As the short conversation came to an end they professed their love for each other again just before saying good-bye. As Bill looked into his dresser mirror to tied his tie, he saw the happiest man in the world looking back at him.

For Amber the next couple of weeks went by quickly. Her agency had her booked every day. The seven hour time delay between Chicago and Paris made it difficult to call Bill every day. She didn't want to call him at work because she knew he wouldn't be able to talk to her much. Finally they both decided she would only call him a couple more times during her last week in Paris. Amber was working twelve and fourteen hours days and was tired by the time she got back to the hotel. Bill understood and said it was not a problem. They only had another week to go before they would be back together again anyway.

For the three weeks Amber was gone, Bill tried to occupy himself as much as possible. If he didn't he would just sit around pining for his love. A couple times he was invited to go out with Gary and Judy. As much as he hated being a third wheel, he enjoyed their company and never turned down an invitation. A couple times he went out to a show by himself, anything to mark off another night.

With only two days left in Paris, Amber was winding down. She had one more runway show to do, then, on her last day, just a few pick up pictures at one of the studios and she was done. She was tired. She had worked hard, long hours while she was there and had successfully avoided seeing too much of Jon Paul as well.

After the show she heard some of the other models talking about going out for some drinks. During her three weeks she had several offers to go out with the other models and kick up their heels in the city of love, but she had previously turned them down. Tonight, however; since she didn't have to call Bill and she had been such a good girl, she thought she deserved a little fun and decided to join them.

Even in the most romantic city on earth, five beautiful, international fashion models would stir up some excitement no matter where they go. Amber and her friends enjoyed the many drinks and offers to dance that they received from the men. Amber was just about to call it a night when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Hi ladies," said Jon Paul, "can I join you?"

Of course they all knew Jon Paul and welcomed him to sit down with them. Amber didn't want to be rude so she decided she would stay for one more drink, then go back to her hotel room. She had a flight to catch at eleven fifteen in the morning.

One more drink turned into two more drinks and a dance in between. Amber was not drunk, but she was feeling no pain by the time she told everyone good-bye and started for the door. Jon Paul escorted her outside and said he would be happy to drive her back to her hotel. It was late, cabs were scarce so, against her better judgment, she accepted his offer.

The next thing she knew, Amber was sitting on the edge of her bed dressed only in her bra and panties. The Eiffel Tower shown brightly out her window. Jon Paul was sitting next to her. He took her chin with his right hand and guided her head around to look at him. He tilted his head and met her lips with his own. Amber was in an emotional turmoil. She couldn't, she told herself, no, no, she must stay true to Bill, but after three weeks of celibacy she was just so damned horny. She felt herself kissing him back. With-in moments Jon Paul's disarming charms of seduction were at work. He had the rest of her clothes off and was working her body into carnal splendor.

Amber found herself with her legs locked around Jon Paul's back while he was thrusting his cock deep into her body. She was lost in an all too familiar sexual bliss. Soon it was over and they fell asleep in each other's arms.

Amber was startled by the ringing phone next to her on the night stand.

"Bonjour Mademoiselle," said the desk clerk, "you asked for a eight a.m. wake up call, Madam."

"Yes, yes I did," said Amber, "thank you." She felt the body lying next to her and regretfully remembered her betrayal. Amber had enjoyed her sexually free spirit all her adult life, but for the first time, after a night of sex, she felt dirty all over. She didn't even look in the bed as she made her way to the shower. She needed to get clean, of course no amount of soap and water was going to wash away the shame and the guilt that Amber was feeling.

Jon Paul, awoke as Amber closed the bathroom door. He heard the shower running. He was so proud of himself. He had won. As he started to dress he spotted Amber's cell phone on the dresser. He picked it up and scrolled down the names until he saw Bill. Ah, he thought, so here is the love of her life.

It was one in the morning in Chicago when Bill's cell phone rang. The deadening tone from his pants pocket allowed Bill to sleep through its melodic tune indicating the call was coming from his sweetheart. After a few moments the call went to voicemail.

Amber stepped out of the shower of her Paris hotel room wrapped in large towel. She looked at Jon Paul, who was completely dressed by this time. Yes, she was weak, what could she say, she was a sexual creature, but he knew what he was doing last night and she would never forgive him. "Get out of here, Jon Paul," she said with anger in her voice, "I don't ever want to see you again."

Jon Paul just smiled to himself as he left her room feeling no remorse. He was done with her anyway, he thought. Amber did not notice her phone being in a different place than where she left it. Jon Paul had erased the history of the last call made.

As the large, American Airlines, jet climbed to a cruising altitude, Amber tried to deal with her guilty conscience. It was done, she had no excuses, but what now. Should she tell Bill? No, of course not, she thought. It was Paris, four thousand miles from Chicago. She remembered Bill's reluctance to even have a relationship with her believing she would. some day, break his heart. She was going to make sure that would never happen. By God that was the last thing she ever wanted to do. She loved him. She loved him with all her might. She had a nine hour flight to deal with her shame and remorse. Bill would be at the airport to pick her up and she would make sure he never knew anything about her indiscretion.

Bill was about to leave his apartment for work. He was only putting in half a day today. He had cleared it with his boss, he would work until noon, then get to O'Hare in time to pick up Amber when her flight came in at one thirty.

On his way out the door he felt his cell phone buzz letting him know he had a voicemail. He dialed to hear the message and got worried when he saw it was from Amber. I sure hope she didn't miss her flight, he thought. Bill hit the pound sign on his phone to start the message. He was surprised to hear a man's voice.

"So this is monsieur Bill, the man who has captured my little pet's heart. Can you hear this?" the voice asked. Bill couldn't figure out what was going on. This was Amber's phone, who the hell was the guy on the other end? Bill thought he could hear the sound of running water in the background, someone taking a shower maybe? The man's voice returned. "That is Amber taking a shower. You ask, why am I here while Amber is in the shower, well my friend, because I have been fucking her all night, that's why." That was the end of the message.

Bill's mind just went into a tail-spin. He was half way out his front door when the message ended. He felt all the energy, all the life, drain from his body. He needed to sit down. He couldn't even get back into his apartment, he just sat down on the stone step at his front door. He just sat there and stared at nothing across the parking lot as tears welled up in his eyes. His mind hadn't even begun to function yet. He just kept hearing the man's voice over and over, "because I have been fucking her."

Bill's first thought was one of anger, but not at Amber, at himself. How could he have been so stupid, he thought. He knew from the first moment he met her that she would break his heart, I knew it, and yet I let her lead me on anyway. Damn it! Damn it, he thought.

He had to get to work, he had never been late and he wasn't going to start now. Bill got into his car. The next thing he knew he was in the company parking lot. He looked around. He didn't even know how he got there, he didn't remember the drive, did I even stop for the traffic light's, he wondered. He walked into his office in a daze, sat down at his desk, and couldn't hold back anymore. He crossed his arms on his desk, laid his head down, and cried.

It was a slow day. No one bothered him or even came into his office. He lifted his head and realized he had been crying for half an hour. He got up and went to washroom. He rinsed his eyes with cold water. What am I going to do, he thought. His anger had turned to grief, now his grief was turning to uncertainty. What do I do ... break it off ... confront her ... what if the call was a fake, someone just trying to make trouble ... but the call came from her phone. Thought after thought flashed through his mind. Should he still go to O'Hare to meet her?

Bill returned to his office but absolutely nothing got done. Around eleven Bill's boss, Mr. Anderson poked his head in through the door. "Hey Bill," he said with a smile, "don't forget to pick up your sweet heart today."

"I won't Mr. Anderson, thanks." Yeah, he thought, I have to pick her up, just in case the call was a fake. I have to confront her though, I have to. As soon as she gets off the plane I'll ask her straight out if she slept with some guy while she was there. If she says she did, that's it. I'll tell her to get a cab home.

Bill anxiously waited for the passengers to come out from the boarding area. All the way to the airport, in the car he told himself he had to stay strong, he would face her with nerves of steel and a stone cold heart. As soon as he saw her he would ask her flat out, "did you sleep with some ass hole while you were in Paris?" If the answer was yes, he would leave her standing there, if she denied it, would he believe her? I guess it depends on how convincing she is, he thought.

Bill looked up and saw Amber walking his way. As soon as she saw him waiting her eyes lit up and a broad smile stretched across her face. Her walk quickened and then broke into a jog, as she reached him she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him, then kissed him again, and again. She had tears in her eyes, "God how I missed you," she said. Bills nerves of steel, his stone cold heart, melted instantly. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back. They held on to each other like they would never let go.
