Chapter 12: Selke

The wizards had been invited to a party at the palace on Kazan Island held in their honour.

Kyle hadn’t given up on convincing the Therians to re-join the world. They had been back and forth several times in between helping Lee get the scientists settled in.

Kyle noticed Tony’s eyes straying to Piper again. She was a lovely woman, and he wouldn’t mind fucking her either. Tony seemed to have developed an infatuation for her and Kyle had noticed when they were being shown around the two often ended up together.

“Zan was his name. He was quite handsome, and much taken with us. He stayed three months while his ship was being repaired. We both missed him after he left,” Banta said.

Kyle grinned. “Would you mind if we invited a couple of impromptu guests?” he asked.

“Who?” Banta inquired.

“Banta, is that you, my old friend?” he heard.

Banta spun around at hearing his name being called. He stared at the man who looked little different now, to what he did twenty years before. A striking older male was on one arm, and a very beautiful and very pregnant Pix woman was on the other.

“Banta, you are just as handsome as I remember. Apologies, for not coming back to visit with you sooner. This is my husband William and our exquisite wife Dye,” Zan said.

He released his spouses and drew Banta into a hug. He then kissed him in a very friendly manner. He released him and stepped back to find himself being wrapped into Selin’s arms as she hugged him tightly then kissed him in the same vein.

Kyle was amused to watch the reunion. He was not above using any ethical means at his disposal to get the outcome he wanted. He felt by bringing Zan here he would become the asset he needed to help convince Banta to join with him and Selin to bring their people into the fold. The man obviously still had feelings for him.

He watched the five for a few more minutes as they got to know each other. He was amused at the way Banta also gave William the once over, he obviously liked what he saw.

William also seemed attracted to Banta, and his appreciation of Selin was evident. Dye too seemed to have taken a fancy to Selin, and she and Zan ended up on her arms as Banta and William appeared to find a lot in common.

Kyle guessed that if William still held any bigotry to other races, it may well get firmly evicted later this evening, going by the looks he and Banta exchanged.

He looked back around for Tony and realised Tony was in discussion with Piper. He watched as she flirted with Tony and realised, he was flirting back. Now he was intrigued.
