An interesting author name. I can't decide if it means Jay can Trell or if he can't Rell.

Waiting at the Bluebird by Forest Hunter is a running serial that deals with politics.

Try Lazlo Zalezac - his stories are ones that make you think. I really liked his Jade series. (Oh, who am I kidding - I like everything he's written. Same with Jay as well, of course.)

Lazlo has the ability to take a situation and project it forward to predict the possible consequences. Look at 'Utopian Refugee' and 'The Reset Manifesto' for two examples.

And his many other stories too. Each of them you pick and read - you are not going to miss.

Each of them forces you to think - and that is becoming dangerous in this time :D

Lazlo's stories tend to be controversial as they are so politically incorrect. Besides the two mentioned in your post, one other springs readily to mind is "Hunter", one of several of his that brought tears to my eyes in at least one part.

policitcally correct or not most of his stories makes you think "what if" and in the world we live in now it is the biggest question

To OP Lady in Red by Hardaysknight has power? And politics in book 2 and 3 though Steve makes Superman seem like a wimp.Posting is not as frequent as previous, probably because of the story direction.
