The read/unread dots and flags are missing from some pages. This also happens with all browser plugins disabled and unloaded.
It doesn't appear to correlate to whether or not any stories are read or unread, as I've checked authors that I know I've read, and authors I know I've never read, and the results are not consistent.
Inspecting the page shows the following error in Firefox:
Uncaught TypeError: document.getElementById(...) is null

Or this error in Chromium based browsers:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set properties of null (setting 'innerText')
at XMLHttpRequest.setDots (dot.2.0.js:1:461)
