A question of how would you write this? 10/5/21

There's a writing topic I've been kicking around in my head that i was hoping to get some useful advice on. It's because i'm admittedly not creative enough to come up with the kind of ideas needed.

I'm trying to write for a female character pursuing a male character in a romantic context. You know various "look at me," type of things. You can also assume money is no object and the female isn't used to a man who says no to her.

To the male character the female character is exactly the kind of stuck up woman who he runs away from SCREAMING!

Any thoughts?

I've read a few stories on SOL with a male protagonist where this sort of thing appears as a side plot. If people could suggest a few, perhaps you could read them and work out how to reverse engineer from the woman's perspective.

Some of Stangstar06's stories have the discarded cheating wife trying hard to win her ex-husband back. Those might be worth a visit too.

Well to answer your question, they have a "two ships passing in the night" kind of meeting. I was thinking they'd have some kind of indirect encounter where he sees her something mean spirited like reduce some poor coffee barista to tears. She may or may not notice him at this point.

Then they have a second encounter where she becomes intrigued and goes 'i will have him,' and then her jaw drops when he says no.

And that's where it gets to the "meat" of the original post i made.
