Male PoV - read originally on asstr

This story I recall reading on asstr many years ago.

The main character was a man who I think inherits either a lumberyard, quarry or some sort of business like that. It's more of a romance story, but I remember towards the end of the story he roleplays with his partner which involved a scene where he catches her, blindfolds her etc. I remember the story not starting with the inheritence and being reasonably long and having some interesting stories, but I've never been able to find it again. I think he may either meet her by interviewing her for a position at the company, after he takes over or before. I recall some drama happening involving the inheritence as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

not sure if this is the one you want, but got a strange feeling it may be, despite the discrepancies

@Ernest Bywater

Unfortunately it's not, I don't think I've seen this story on this site.

@zellus

I've tried that already, I haven't managed to find it so far and I'm not 100% sure it was an inheritence, which is what makes it harder to find. I remember some parts of it and I'm sure I'd know it once I start reading it.

A search on my local archive for quarry + blindfold + interview + roleplay

returns:
http://www.asstr.org/files/Authors/Bootscooter/

It's rtf only and the keywords cross file boundaries, So you would never find it with google.
Need my custom search engine for that...

Thanks, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be it - I'll keep checking though.

Unfortunately I've still been unable to find this, I'm hoping someone else will have read this story and can recall it better than me.

I am pretty sure (not positive, I am getting old) That I have read the story here on SOL. I am again pretty sure it was a lumberyard he inherited and in a different area from where he was living at the time. I also want to say it may have started out as a "cheating wives" story.

I don't think the person was married at the time in the story that I remember. I do recall some drama with someone at the company with other guys, but it's been such a long time I could be confusing it with other stories.

thinking about it you may be right. It may have been a cheating girlfriend or one not happy with him (she wanted spend more or party more. I want to say it started out in a major city and the lumberyard was in a rural area. I also want to say I think I have read other stories by the same author. Dammit, it is hell getting old, because I really liked this story and would like to read it again also and I should remember it.

It might be one of SW MO Hermit's stories; http://storiesonline.net/a/SW_MO_Hermit

It's not just a failing of getting old. I have read sooo many stories and books over the years that they tend to blend together and and engage in incestuous behavior. Oh well, one copes as one can.

OH this so funny. I was going through my favorite authors list one by one to see if it was there. I was looking at SM MO Hermit's stories and was going to post that even if it was not there were many similar stories he might like.

Thanks, that was the story - disappointingly wasn't very much that I remembered it.
