So, I have a couple ideas for stories I think would make for a good comedy, but I'm just not good with comedy writing. It always turns out exceptionally cringy.
These two ideas though have been plaguing my imagination to no end, so perhaps someone here may want a jab at them?
Idea 1. Zombie girlfriend / Super soldier boyfriend
Post Apocalyptic societies trying to carry on a normal life, failed super-soldier is trying to find a place to safely live with his zombie girlfriend who ruins things when she 'loses' her mind and reverts to full zombie.
Essentially, because he is an experiment of sorts he can regenerate, his girlfriend was a zombie that attacked his facility and when she bit him she regained semi-consciousness. The two are now just trying to live a normal life while fending off full zombies and towns people who find out their secret.
Idea 2 mysogynistic serial rapist is reincarnated as a sickly rich girl sent to an all girls academy where they meet a grifter (male) posing as a female counselor in order to get blackmail on the rich families. Instead the two uncover a secret that changes the course of their lives and high society.
Again, I'm not great with comedy, and I can see these ideas working better in that medium than anything I normally write. They just won't leave my imagination! So, if anyone else thinks they can do the ideas justice, or simply want to play around with them, I'd love to see/read what you come up with!
