I have received lots of e-mails asking when I would continue William Redman Carter. I have finished three chapters and won't post them until I have written three more. Believe it or not, finishing Oscar Meyers took a lot out of me. And yes, Georgia and Debbie do appear in it. I promise not to kill William at the end.
I have also been posting the last few chapters of General Sid. It is almost over. Have no fear, I will be posting a new Damsels in Distress story before long. I won't give away the ending of this one with any hints about the next one. Sorry.
Speaking of the Damsels in Distress Universe, I am pleased that another author has introduced a new world accessed through Crossroads. Ringmaster picked up on a little hint that I had included in the Damsels in Distress Universe description -- Crossroads connects hundreds of worlds. He has created a new world and can introduce the rules that make sense for his world. I had thought others might enjoy writing about worlds in which the men had to defeat a woman in mud wrestling or something of that nature in order to breed with her.
I have been posting The Quatyl which is an attempt at a lighter more humorous story than the stories from the John Carter Universe. Some readers found it too much of a divergence from my other stories and have quit reading it. I don't really blame them. I should have probably posted it under another pen name, but I didn't. Odds are, it would have attracted a different set of readers who are not that enthralled with my other works. As it stands now, I've alienated a few fans and failed to attract some new fans. Oh well, live and learn.
I have been working on another story that is now over 32 chapters in length and still growing. It is tentatively titled, "Hunter." I will probably post this story under a different pen name and title because I can already hear the e-mail about how I've violated the principles of the John Carter Universe in it. Read about lessons learned in the paragraph above.
