It's about time or I thought that you were dead.

Hello All!

Well it has been a year since I have last updated this story and good news! I almost have a chapter done.

I want to thank every one that has offered to edit and I am sorry if I have not been able to get back to you all.

It has been a strange year. I started a new job just before posting the last chapter and that job is or was taking up most of my time.

What is this job you ask? Well it is a great job working for a very small radio station in Arizona. I started out as a producer for a local talk radio host and then moved on from there to production for all of our prerecorded shows. About 3 months ago I was finely hired on full time (hint I was already putting in the hours I just was not getting paid for it) now it is my job to get called on the carpet for every second of dead air, program glitches, network feed problems, and a host of other problems that Radio stations deal with. Oh yea I am also the fill in guy for when the Air talent is sick or out of town to do a 3 hour talk show on Saturday mornings. I get to do all of this and still try to write a book. Well at least the job pays sort of. Well to tell the truth it does pay me. I just get no over time and no benefits. So I work a bunch of hours for little pay.
So why do you stay at that crappy job?
Well no one has offered to pay me for America yet, and the job does have its rewards. Sitting behind a mic and making an ass out of your self for 3 hours on a Saturday is a kick in the ass. It is a bunch of fun and a real rush when someone calls in and tells you that you're doing a good job and they are really enjoying the show. That is the real pay. I learned a long time ago that if you are going to do something strive to be the best. Even if you are not able to become the best keep striving for it. Because one day your hard work will pay off and you will die knowing that you did your best.

The real point to all of this is to let you, the reader know that I am still here. I am still writing and that America is not a dead project. It is slow moving (Compounded by the fact that I am legally blind) but it is catch as catch can finding the time for sitting down and writing.

Now if there is some one out there that wants to edit Please write to me and this time I will respond. My job has slowed down to the point were I have some breathing room and am finding time to write.

And for those that have requested that I open the universe well I have. Feel free to write to your hart's content. But since I have not gotten the first book out yet and I plan 3 books it would not be a good idea to start a new chapter in America since I have not even gotten to the main plot yet. But if you think that you can do it go for it.

Take care and live well
