Good afternoon -
I'm sitting warm and dry after a 6-inch deluge, including hail. That's a record for 12 hours in the area north of Chicago where I live. There is lots of flooding, but luckily, not in my neighborhood.
Several of you have inquired to know when you will meet Siobhan. That would be tomorrow in Chapter 4. I hope you will not be disappointed. In addition, you will learn just a little about the University of Georgia where I received ABJ in journalism many, many years ago.
The feedback has been an interesting variation from my previous stories. The rating is in the middle compared to the scores for earlier efforts, but the number of votes after only three chapters is higher than over half of my previous stoies. The story is in more libraries than any previous, and I've received notes from far more readers.
My conclusion: I think you like the story so far.
One interesting benefit has been the number of notes recommending other stories - commercial and amateur - of a similar genre. My reading list is going to be quite long, but please continue to let me know of good reads.
