Here I am, just now reading the feedback from my final chapter submission on Pocket Watch, which I submitted mid July. Thanks for all the comments, and well wishes (and the one wanting to address my political views).
Course writing for our Virtual branch has taken a back seat, but needs to be finished out ASAP.
At 67 a man gets tired. Especially if he's trying to split time between work, family and now also building a retirement home - literally.
Examples: start of new semester have to get 100's of students into new system they haven't trained me on yet...
Working on property in 100 degree heat index weather, put in sub foundation for pier and beam type foundation Saturday(yesterday with help from a son, a daughter and son-in-law who wields a mean shovel!)
And so writing has taken the back burner, at least for now. I can not predict when I will have something new. I do promise I will have it complete before I start posting it. Pocket Watch was too drawn out. My apologies for that.
A special thanks goes out to Pepere, my editor, for making me look good. Fledgling writers couldn't go wrong with his assistance.
When I come back, I will as always try to post near the time that Roustwriter posts his latest chapter to the megaEpic, Arlene and Jeff.
