I'm not gonna lie, in my personal life, 2014 has been mostly a festival of suck (and not the good kind of sucking either).
On the story front--well, this has affected that too, but there is at least some good news.
In 2007, when I first started writing erotica, I came up with the idea for a 5 part series called "Keeping on the Team," starting off with the old trope of athlete does something to threaten membership on sports team, athlete promises to do anything to not get kicked off, sex ensues.
Chapter 1 happened in 2007, Chapter 2 happened in 2009. I spent 5 years trying to write chapter 3 but was NEVER happy with it. I considered going ahead and writing and publishing chapter 4 while leaving chapter 3 unfinished.
However earlier this year I got a wonderful idea--using the 7 years of maturity since I first wrote that story, I rewrote it in March and published it here. It gave me all the inspiration I needed to figure out how to get chapter 3 off the ground finally.
Of course this led to another problem--chapter 2 wasn't good enough anymore. Tonight I finished and submitted the rewritten chapter 2, doubling in size the original story and changing a major plot point.
But now things are set up so beautifully for chapter 3 that I can't wait to get started writing it.
