Hello,
I've been having a lot of fun writing this story. There's been much to learn. Plotting, punctuation, grammar, and characterization to name a few.
One of the funnest lesson's I've learned is that my job as an author is to make my protagonist's life a living hell. To add drama by finding ways to sink the knife in deeper and twist it just a little more. All of this, just to entertain us. How cool's that?
In this chapter, new characters are introduced with a surprising little twist.
From the beginning of this story I have stated that it is an exploration of purposeful evil. What it is and how a person's choices affect them and those around them. I have also tried to respect my reader's sensibilities by pointing this out so that they could avoid the story if they feel it may be offensive to them.
So far in the story, John has sold his soul, targeted a marriage and destroyed it, impregnated the wife, driven the husband to suicide, and framed an innocent person in the process as a training exercise. The family was chosen for no other reason than they were convenient for the purpose and John liked the wife's body.
From this point forward, we are going even deeper into the darkness. More people will die and lives will be crushed. Come. If you are willing.
