Ch 6 reasoning.

OK so it's my take on what they missed. Term limits. Washington set it for President until FDR got greedy. Salary? The positions were supposed to be part time, not life time. And the framers intended Congress to be a part time service oriented position with a token payment.

Do I even have to say anything about a balanced budget? You wouldn't get away with borrowing more than you earn and could pay back within several hundred years. Actually no one would be foolish enough to loan you that much. I don't think it's too much to ask to only spend what you have revenue for.

There were 9 ministers among the 39 signers and fifty of the fifty five delegates claimed religious affiliations. Thirteen different editions of the 1st amendment were drafted. Congress never intended to exclude religion. They did not want a STATE mandated religion like the English Anglican Church. They wanted freedom to worship God as they chose. Thomas Jefferson was NOT part of the Constitutional Convention. Later, Jefferson erred in his letter to the Danbury baptists and his words were taken out of context to be used to remove God from our countries conscious.

The edits on the second amendment makes it clear. You don't take our guns away. God save Texas cause we save ourselves!

These are my own opinion and I don't care if you agree or not. You won't change my mind, I'm too old and have lived through too much. I know better. Save your letters for someone else.

It's going to get twisted in the next couple of chapters, so hang on for the ride.
