The boy wonder, as in I wonder what the heck he does all day while I'm working like a dog, has gotten the computer back from beyond the grave. The surgery was a success however the patient died. It seems that somehow all MY desktop items are lost in the void somewhere between Deep Space 9 and Vulcan. My dearly beloved's desktop survived with just a minor lisp. Physical therapy should have that cured eventually. Wonder of wonders, all of John and Kathy EXCEPT Chapter 12 survived the cold of the Ethernet.
