I have to express my appreciation to writers that are able to post chapters to a story (like Lady in Red) week in and week out. It sure isn't easy finding time and keeping the juices flowing. I watch the numbers to see if I'm losing readers and how the score is going. I get a few emails that beg me to drop dead, that the story sucks, and cannot possibly happen. That's what I call fiction. Then a few feedback messages show up telling me how much the reader is enjoying the story and I feel like it's all worth the effort. This isn't Shakespeare. It's just a fun story with characters able to do many of the things I can't, but would love to master some day. It isn't complicated. It's simply meant to entertain.
