Thanks to all who volunteered to edit. My editor is back but I'm using more than one. Anything too crazy is my fault! Thanks also for your comments, but please be patient - jumpiing the gun about things at this point doesn't serve much purpose - there are still seven or eight chapters to go - although many of your comments have been insiteful - but please try to suspend disbelief.
