One of the things I frequently have been asked is if any of my stories are based on my real experiences or if they are completely fiction. In more than one of my stories I borrowed from my real life, though I'm not going to say exactly which stories and what parts.
Even in my latest story, "The Girl Across the Lake" Has scenes between the characters that actually took place between myself and another person.
The funny thing is that the parts most often criticized as unrealistic or unbelievable are the parts that actually took place. In one of my early stories I received critisism for dialog between a female character and the male character.I had to smile at that as the wording was exactly what had been told to me by a girl in my life.
I guess it goes to prove that sometimes fact is stranger than fiction.
