I tried to update all my stories at one time several months ago, and I got a couple of responses that read something like this:
"Damn it! If I had noticed how long it had been since you started this thing...I NEVER WOULD HAVE STARTED IT!!!"
Sadly, my fragile hold on my muse was disrupted. Remember folks...nobody PAYS me for this...
OTOH, I do get enjoyment out of writing, and in retrospect, it is silliness indeed to allow (somewhat valid) critism of my recent productivity to derail my efforts completely. Maybe it was that the critism was inarguable?
