So apologies for not having the next chapter finished by now. I had hoped to have it all done and submitted by Monday...but on my way home from work I stopped to get groceries and found the latest Dresden Files in paperback in the book section. I've been waiting for it for months now and I pretty much put everything else on hold while I devoured the damn thing.
If you know the Dresden Files, I don't need to explain this. If you don't know the Dresden Files, you're a God damned heathen and must convert or remove yourself from my presence.
That being said, the book was fucking fantastic. Jesus what a mind fuck. Now that it's over and done with, I'm going to finish up the last of the next chapter and get it edited and submitted hopefully by tomorrow. So I ask only that you be patient.
Also, many thanks to those of you who have voted and especially to those who have sent me feedback and encouragement. I'm sure this story is not the stroke material some of you are used to but for me it's something of an experiment in my writing and as such it won't be subject to the expectations of readers. I hope you enjoy it but I won't hold it against you if you don't.
