Being a writer for many years now, I've done a lot of research into different topics. I've written about more than just erotic fiction and have had to do some non-fiction work as well. It's always impressive the amount of things you end up learning about in the course of your research.
My most recent research project involves learning about high heels for a story I'm preparing to write. I started by asking several female friends of mine about their knowledge of heels and mostly how they wear them and what it feels like. It was educational and I took two main points from the conversations I had:
1) Women are bat shit fucking insane
2) Men do not appreciate the things they do for us
I still have more research to do to get the right feel and tone for the story but I can already tell that this is going to be a very enlightening experience. I've always thought that women in heels are insanely hot, especially when they're wearing garters (that's a whole different topic that I could spin off on). So, at the very least, I won't take a woman for granted if she's wearing to wear heels to look good.
