See my previous posts. Latest scores are way better! Got lots of agreement responses to my point. Maybe I'd better post a few more of the 400+ stories I have written but not posted yet while the posting is good!

I don't think I've seen such a consistent series of rather poor scores for some decent new stories. Is it just me that thinks that?

Thanks to an alert reader who let me know that it slipped through my proofing system. This is a lot better!

Traveling way more than usual this month has cut way back on my postings. Have thought up and written a half dozen new stores to add to the more than 300 I've written and haven't yet posted. Today is a short one. Some longer ones with a lot of character and plot development need to be reviewed before I offer them to you.

Thanks to some helpful comments I took another look at this story that had received a lower score than I expected. I wrote it a couple of years ago and had only lightly reviewed it myself before posting. The intent and the execution weren't clear so I edited and reposted just now. See if this is any better.
