Something Different for Me

Posted at

I tried writing a very different style story for me. Visit to the Doctor is about manipulating a young wife into embarrassing situations. Originally I had outlined the doctor fucking the young wife, but I deleted that from the final story. Maybe this doctor will treat another young lady that he does fuck, but somehow as I wrote the story it didn't seem like he fucked this woman.

It is different for me in that there is no spanking and no interracial sex.

I think that this is the first one in the series that I wrote from a perspective other than the pastor's.

A new chapter for Dana Takes on the Team

It has been too long since my last update, but this story had the most requests for another chapter. OK, it was only 2 requests, but that was 1 more than any other story. Hope that you enjoy.

Why publish stories?

This is the first time I have posted more than a couple short stories anywhere. It is also the first time I have posted in a setting where I can receive direct feedback. I have to admit, it is a little intimidating.

I really appreciate the emails of feedback, encouragement, and even criticism I have received. But these emails have also made me think about why I write, and why I would consider publishing what I write.

I think everyone wants other people to enjoy their stories, or else we wouldn't bother submitting them. I still have to ask myself "what are my goals?" Is the goal of writing and publishing to receive the highest feedback scores?

Do high feedback scores indicate the best, most interesting stories to read? It is better to avoid scenes that some people don't like (even if a few really like it) in order to obtain higher ratings? Higher ratings usually mean more people will check out the story. Having other people read my stories is the reason to publish in the first place.

I'm not sure what I'll do moving forward. I want to write about what excites me, and hope to find some other people who enjoy the same things. But I can't help looking at every feedback score for stories and wonder how it could raise it.

Most of the feedback has been useful whatever course I choose, and I don't want to bash on anyone willing to take the time to read and comment on how I could improve. I honestly appreciate everyone who has constructive remarks.

Still I wonder, how many other authors here struggle with this same question.
