I have to apologize to all the readers of 'Blazing Star' for the lack of new chapters. Life in the real world has gotten very busy with a plethora of problems, one of which is an ongoing battle with my local Internet Provider. Service has, once again been disrupted. Once I get these issues solved, I will be back to authoring! I have not died! I should be around for a few more years! Please understand and bear with me.
Just a quick note to let everyone who has commented or e-mailed me that I have edited and re-posted the entire story to Chapter 17 now. You may wish to see how I have responded to your comment. No major changes. Mainly typos and booboos. Some minor changes, hopefully to improve the quality. Chapter 18 is new, so back to the story! Enjoy!
Due to a significant number of comments and suggestions, I have been re-editing ALL my currently posted chapters including the forward and prologue. This is NOT a blatant excuse to entice downloads, however, I recommend that you may wish to re-read all of them when they are caught up with the current posting. I am done up to Chapter 8 at the moment and hope to be current within a day or so. Wait till then to start past chapter 8.
I hope this will make for a better story. (crossing fingers)
There are no real MAJOR changes, just improvements.

Hello out there to all the members of StoriesOnline. This is my first Blog posting concerning my first Story posting, Blazing Star. At this time, I have posted Chapter 12, while Chapter 13 should be online later today.
I am humbled by the positive responses to the story so far and hope I can continue to entertain all of you with the future chapters of this story. I am very much a virgin as an author and am now feeling quite broken in!
To all those readers/authors that have commented and/or e-mailed me about this story, I thank you. ALL of you. Every comment, positive or negative helps me to be a better author and thereby produce a better story for you to read. I really do appreciate it!
Having said that, the few responses that appear to be critical also assist in my improving the story. I am thankful for these also. As a result of these and followups from others, I may be changing small parts of the posted text and hope it improves the story. I will endeavor to notify you readers of those changes so you may, if you wish, reread the affected chapter(s). Please note that I have already reposted many of the first 10 chapters and at this time I consider them finished.
From time to time, my story may have things you think don't add up and you comment about it. I usually reply to all e-mails and some posted comments. I am sure that you are all trying to be helpful and that I appreciate.
Now, I will be making changes in Chapter 11 because a lot of readers have contributed information which, I am sure, was intended to be helpful. There have been many good points and I agree that changes would be improvements. Watch for a notice on this Blog about when that chapter has been reposted.
Please, this story is FICTION. It is ok to want it to be somewhat realistic, but not a requirement! Some details are not included for that reason. (among others)
