The rumors of my death by COVID have been greatly exaggerated
For fans of Rose Tattoo hoping for an update: bad news. That isn't coming - not anytime soon and possibly (probably?) not ever. I have a bunch of random parts started and much of the outline written but unfortunately no matter how many times I've tried to go back to it, the story just doesn't flow like I need it to and trying to force it would make it mostly unreadable.
For fans of Heather: OWWH part 5 is well under way. I do not intend to release it until it's fully written and edited, lest I leave anyone hanging like I did with Rose Tattoo. If you're a masochist and would rather have the chapters emailed as they become available, feel free to send me a message. I have no time line at this time. Most of story is outlined and numerous chapters have been started but not finished. So it has a looooong way to go but it's progressing.
For those fans who felt cheated by New Neighbor/OWWH4's complete and utter lack of Heather - well, rejoice with the news that Heather is back. This story does not involve anyone from New Neighbor besides Jess and Aaron. If the 250k words of New Neighbor turned you off (and I wouldn't blame you - what kind of psycho writes 250k words of porn?) no worries as you do not need to have read any of it. This story is a direct sequel to OWWH3 and does not rely on any knowledge of OWWH4.

For any hardcore Heather fans (especially those disappointed by Heather's absence from OWWH4):
I have a part written which was the original Part 4 but now would be, like, part 3.5 I guess.
It is a Heather/Cara/Jess/Aaron story. It is shorter than the others at only 12k-ish words and I removed it from circulation mostly cuz I wasn't totally happy with how it flowed. It isn't bad, I don't think, but didn't live up to the other parts and parts of it felt forced. Also, I opted to recycle some of the material in Rose Tattoo (though that stuff hasn't been published in Rose Tattoo yet. Spoiler alert? I dunno.)
I don't have the ambition to rewrite it now but I also don't want to publish it along side the other parts on SOL for the reasons mentioned. But, it still is a complete story that I put the time into and people that feel gyped by Heather's lack of presence in OWWH4 may appreciate it. SO, after all that, if you want to read it, send me a message either VIA email at cw5523729@gmail.com or VIA the message function on SOL and I'll send a link to it. Only catch: since I don't really want it published (at least not yet), I ask that it be kept for personal reading only.
Chapter 12 of Rose Tattoo should be available within the next week. My sincerest apologies to the fans who have waited far too long for this story to be resumed.
The final two chapters have been submitted and should be available soon.
