Aging reminds me of growing up and another very interesting story, a true one. I met my writer pal 'Limnophile' and his female cousin in a farmtown near Chicago, the day after Saigon fell, in spring 1975.
She's gone now, and Limnophile says he doesn't mind if I tattle a little. One day that autumn, we pilfered a pack of cigarettes and a 12-pack of beer from his parents' kitchen. Hidden in a corn field, his cousin gave us our first real kisses and a bit more. We never went all the way, but she was the love of our young teen lives. He left us out of the sequel to the true story "Know me".
