Greetings one and all!

GOOD NEWS!
A fan of my work has gifted me with his old laptop!!! Combine that with the comming of spring (my health seems to improve in the spring) and I'll be able to start writing again.

There are a couple of small problems that will need to be addressed, but all in all I'm greatly encouraged. Please keep good thoughts for me as I hope to continue 'A Singular Time' along with a couple of new ideas.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not able to get to the library very often to read my emails there. I'm using the computer of an acquaintance to get into sol for this blog as the library blocks adult sites.

Anyway, I have decided to save for a NEW cheap laptop instead of fiddling with all of these broken machines--I now have four pieces of junk that don't work. Soooooo I will not be able to write until that purchase. The problem is that real life keeps kicking me in the butt with medical and car expenses, therefore I have no idea when I'll be able to return to writing.

Please keep good thoughts for me and thanks for being faithful. I have ideas that are bubbling in my brain so maybe I'll try writing them out long hand.

I think that it is time for an update.

One of my fans has been good enough to give me an older computer. However, UPS mishandled things. By the time that the unit got here the hard drive was broken free and there were screws and bits of broken plastic on the bottom of the computer. Pictures were sent and forms filled out... Now we are waiting for UPS Insurance to decide it they will accept the photos or require an actual inspection AND if they will pay for the damage.

Please pray that the corp. type bean counters will not cause trouble.

I managed to cobble together a short chapter of Singular. Got my machine back with a death notice. The thing smells like burning plastic every time I turn it on. (the teck had to disconnect a bunch of components just to get it to boot up) However, I thought it worth the risk to at least give you all a short bit. One of my readers has promised me his old machine. Please grant him good thoughts for his promised kindness.

Well I finally dropped my computer off at Staples for a 'guesstimate' of the repairs. At any rate they will try and retrieve my data off of the hard drive. If they are able to do that then I will be able to use the library computers to get back to work, health permitting of course.

Please have good thoughts people...
