Last time I updated my blog here I mentioned some of the reasons I had been AWOL and that I was going to be getting back to writing. Well the best laid plans of mice and men... and amateur writers can go awry as many of you know.
I started working on a new chapter and ran into the dreaded writers block... and real life medical issues. In the early part of 2015 I was having some medical issues, but I was never sure what it was... That's until June of 2015 when my Gall Bladder decided to fail. When it really flared up I honestly thought I was having a heart attack, but after a trip to the ER and the doctors checking me over, it was determined that my Gall Bladder was the issue.
Because of my real life medical situation my doctor was being very cautious... I would say overly cautious... and it took 4 months to finally get it removed.
After a couple of months of recovery, wrestling with that same accursed writers block and some other odds and ends I'm back to writing and nearly done with chapter 5... assuming anyone is still out there waiting for a new chapter...
First I want to apologize for taking so long to get back to this, as many of you know, life can toss you curve balls and you just have swing... Sometimes you hit one out and sometimes you strike out. I'm back and I'm going to be working on a new chapter with more in the works I hope...
Back in late 2010 I was forced to move, which is never fun but when you have to find a new place to live in under 3 months and find accessible housing on short notice it makes it even less fun. If that wasn't bad enough, not long after I moved my computer died a nasty overheating death and I thought I had lost all the previous chapters and a partial of chapter 5.
It took a while to get a new computer since I was having to buy parts one per month with very little money, but it finally got done back in October, Then just today I found the hard drive with all my old chapters and was able to retrieve them as well as the partially written chapter 5.
Well, I'm back and writing again so here we go...
