For those who have already started reading "Returning Home" - I appreciate it. However, I have asked that it be removed. Something is keeping me from continuing the story, so I need to do some rework on it so I can get more written and I am happier with the story.
It is my hope to get something posted within the next couple of months, but that all depends on how my real life holds up. Here's wishing!

Sorry it has taken so long, folks, but I have 2 more chapters from "Returning Home" in with one of my editors now. I am hoping to post one of those chapters in the next week or so (depending on edits, of course).
Real life has really hammered me and I don't feel my time has been my own for quite a while. I am slowly finding time to write and continue with this story. Please bear with me.
I appreciate all those who continue to read my stories and I will try to get better with writing and posting chapters and stories.

I've just submitted the first chapter of my story "Returning Home". It's not done yet, so I can't let you know how often I will be submitting chapters. But, I thought that if I got this out there, my muse would return to help me beef up the middle.
Dialog in this first chapter is written phonetically to illustrate the accent of the region, and just because I wanted to see if I could do it. From Chapter 2 on, everyone will be speaking "normally".
I would love to hear readers' impressions of this chapter and if they are intrigued to read more ... that might help my muse also. :)
