I just uploaded the next chapter to Code Monkey. It should hit in the A.M. or perhaps sooner if the mods aren't busy.

Thanks for waiting. I hope I can post monthly again. I'm already working on the next chapter.

After a prolonged period consisting of somewhat equal parts needing to learn new software packages for work under a deadline, writer's block, and depression, I've come out the other side into the sunshine.

I've gained enough of a working knowledge of the two software packages to be dangerous. I've gladly got back to work where I left off in the next chapter of Code Monkey, and now I have a workout partner who'll be going with me three times a week to the local YMCA.

AND MY TAXES ARE DONE AND FILED!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to resolve my email issues with Outlook yet. But now that I'm not sleeping as much and getting things done on my huge 'to do' list, I'll be working to fix that problem. Now if I could get Stack Player off my HP laptop, I'd be a happy man.

I'll post an update as I near completion of the next chapter.

Due to ongoing real-life issues concerning family, work, and unresolved Outlook email problems, the next chapter of Code Monkey is behind schedule. At this time I cannot forecast exactly when it will be posted. The same is true for getting back my Outlook email accounts.

I am still having problem receiving emails from my new email account and possibly with sending emails. I'm working to fix the issue.

It seems I need to sync or reconnect or jump through as many Microsoft hoops as possible on my HP to satisfy the new and better and more secure version of Outlook that sucks as did the last version and killed my beloved Hotmail and ate it and its trusting users so long ago.

I've finally installed all the system upgrades I hope I need and now I must decide if I spend the day writing new material for Code Monkey or the time dicking around with Microsoft.

I see the bones of a short story about the radicalization of software users into varisous violent groups around the world bent on striking back at the Western Economic Lackys who enslave the masses with their authoritarian ways solely for their economic enrichment.

I did an edit of the latest chapter and fixed all the goofs I saw. Dang.
