Though one reader did say he had the DVR fired up and he'd watch the games later.
Feedback has been, IMPRESSIVE! I mean like holy crap kind of impressive. There was a steady trickle of 10 to 15 comments as each chapter was released.
Since Saturday night another 450 or so have come in. I sat up most of Sunday morning trying to answer them and I couldn't answer them as fast as they came in. So of course when I went to sleep there were more waiting when I got up. I sat for another few hours answering those and never caught up. And there are still a hundred or so left.
My overall impression is you guys kind of liked the story. Maybe, just a little bit, you know.
Then there is the guy who changed his TPA vote from 10.2.2 to 1.1.1. It, of course, makes no real difference in the overall scheme of things but you do have to admire his/her dedication to whatever cause they are standing up for! So I, for one, salute you!
To answer the question on each one of those comments. Yes, there will be more. It might be a little different, but there will be more. No, don't ask when, because I have no idea.
In response to some of your comments I directed you to Lulu.com to a short story posted there as a contest entry as that short story has some of the feel of what the next book my be like. The one thing we fear the most is a name swap. A rather large and obvious one occurred in chapter 14. Suffice to say yes, it was Rebecca, who entered Tina's room the next morning. It has been fixed along with another minor error or two. It's still my favorite chapter though :)
Chapter 15 is in the queue and should appear shortly. As some of you have predicted in your comments, things are about to get quite serious and will remain that way for sometime. Almost anything may happen at this point.
The posting rate is most definitely in question. I'll keep it up as long as I can, but we're seriously out of 'buffer' to continue posting quite this quickly. I wanted to get 15 out so I can go crawl into my bunker and observe the fallout from a safe distance! :)

At this point in the story anything may, and can happen.
Multiple plots will start to interact and what may first seem like the natural course of the story will probably throw you for a loop or three.
Have faith, it's a bit darker than my usual writing, but it leads to where you want to be.
Just sit back and enjoy the journey and try not to judge the results too soon.

The mistake I made here was that I treated this like the other novels. This one is a lot bigger.
I'm going to pick up the posting pace and simply post as fast as we can get the chapters edited. That may be one a day or every other day. There are 27 chapters in all and dragging that out through a whole other month and more just seems crazy to me.
Chapter 7 is up, 8 probably tomorrow, then we just see how fast we can edit and get it to you.
