Reposted Chapter 8 due to getting my coaches mixed up. Thanks to Paul for pointing it out.
Fortunately my dream-writer did not have any complaints about chapter 7, so it is now in the queue. There is a bit of offscreen violence resulting in an onscreen death. There are also references to coerced sex.
As always, I have some twists.

Sorry I didn't get a chapter posted. Thought I had it ready last night. My story comes to me mostly in my dreams. Well, last few nights I have dreamed about one of my omitted characters from my first attempt at chapter 3. You'll recall I said it was a mess. This character was so much a part of my dreams I had to write her back in. This resulted in having to rewrite the the next few chapters to get her in the flow of things. Originally, she was to appear somewhere in what is now part of either chapter 4 or 5. As a result, Andy's departure from earth has been pushed back at least 2 chapters.
Chapter 7 will be posted after I give it a going over after a good nights sleep... as long as my dreams don't demand another change.

I have put chapter 6 in the queue and it should be up shortly.
I have received several comments concerning Andy's not taking sufficient quantities of suppies or certain types of equipment. I just want to point out that he is an average guy, not a super SEAL/special forces/Green Beret, nor is he a 'prepper' who knows everything he could possibly use. If you were to ask a random individual off the street what they would take in a situation like this, they would probably not be able to think of specific items. That is the kind of guy Andy is. As the story has progressed, he has continually added to his requested supplies. Once he is in place, things will happen that will remind him of something he should have brought. It is impossible to be 100% prepared for anything. Andy is doing the best he can while being distracted by the events surrounding him.
