Rachael Jane: Stories

The adventures and misadventures of Jacqueline de Belleville during the era of the French revolution and the Napoleonic Wars (1789-1815). Orphaned and penniless, Jackie has a body men are willing to die for, and a few get their wish. Life isn't kind to Jackie, but she is a survivor whose intelligent mind and friendly disposition more than makes up for a constant lack of money. This six part series of short stories (approximately 10,000 words each) is inspired by L.A.Meyer's ‘Bloody Jack’ books. A few of the characters in this story are (very) loosely based on L.A.Meyer’s characters. However the plot, setting and most of the characters are my own creation.

Set in different times and places, this series has the common theme of a naturally submissive young woman placing herself in the thrall of a dominant young woman.

Emarukistan is a medieval world of city states inspired by the artwork of Emarukk. The world ranges from deserts to jungle with scattered cities ruled by warlords and noble families. It is a harsh world where wars are common and not even noble families are safe from enslavement.
