Black Family's Nasty Adventures was originally the first story told in a "Arabian Nights" parody in which Shaharazad entertained the king with filthy smut. It, in turn, was supposed to frame the stories of the four family members. Naturally, this ambitious plan got exactly nowhere, and the actual product extends to two pieces written six years apart.
