What else can I do for Paula? Has anyone decided to give me a direction to go now?

“You will be helping the robots repair her body from the neck down. There is a lot they can’t see that you can. She has been very fortunate that her ovaries weren’t injured and her uterus was only bruised,” the voice in my head told me. “She will be able to have children. I fear she would have lost all hope should that not be possible.”

I made myself see only those places the robots couldn’t or hadn’t been able to fix. I started at her collarbone. It had been crushed so badly that her arms didn’t have anything to help keep them in their sockets, not that it mattered since her left arm was shattered into small pieces of bone and her right had been snapped in multiple places.

Before even starting I had the place in my head only let me see the only the pieces of her collarbone which were still in her body, somewhere. I repeated this for her upper arms, forearms, and hands. I sent each one to Molly telling her that I had a lot of puzzles for her to solve. She had me do this for the rest of the bones in her body. I was to consider all the bones of her spine as a single scan, same went for her ribs. Some she had me merge together, like her entire right hand and arm. Molly was tapping into her growing network of autistic people who were using the Molly Speaks app. There were many of them that solved fifteen thousand-piece puzzles, when bored, as fast as they could put the piece down. Each piece of bone would be numbered with a map that my goggles could use to show me where each one.

I knew she was going to ask, so when she wanted to know where in the world I was, I sent her their picture of Paula on the stretcher right after they got her out of the car. Then I added the one of her with her clothes removed. The last one showed what remained inside her fractured skull when they removed the various pieces.

I don’t think I have ever heard of anything that could gross out Molly.

Seeing Paula like that was more than enough for her to agree that she needed to stay where she was and help me like she was doing.

One problem solved.

I don’t think it took very long for Molly’s puzzle solvers to send back a map for Paula’s collarbone. There were gaps from pieces removed with the blood drained from inside her chest cavity. The robots helped me use plates, bent into shape using heat, to hold the tiny titanium-covered, carbon-fiber screws put into the bone to hold it in place.

What does she have inside her that I can put in the gaps for the bone to grow back?

Through my goggles I saw that they had a tray with pieces of removed bone. They went back into her body the way they came out, through the suction tube. There were still many, relatively, large gaps with nothing I could put in there. While I was trying to figure out what I could do the robots resolved the problem for me. They began precisely filling in the gaps with some sort of gel that hardened, instantly, when exposed a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light.

I hope that is some sort of fake bone with everything her body will need to replace it with her own bone.

The man in the machine explained, “This is an advanced, sculptable material which forms into a tight, absorbable, self-aligning matrix that hardens in seconds and fully cures in approximately an hour. We separated out Paula’s stem cells from the blood removed from her body cavity and have had them growing in the lab once extracted. They had those as a portion of the grown stem cells as a part of the gel. Once cured it is harder than the human bone it is temporarily replacing. I yet have no name assigned to it yet as I only completed calculating the permutations of the formula two days after the accident. I ran an exponentially high number of permutations across all available computer processors, at least to the point where the utilization would have been noticed. For larger areas of missing bone, I have added in the bone cells I was able to grow in the lab. I wish to have her bones strong enough to support casts within the next forty-eight hours. The healing process will take significantly longer.”

I did what I could with the pieces of bones I had to work with. In places where she had crushed bones, I couldn’t even find pieces big enough to use. I went through doing what I could when I felt my throne moving to where I could hold Paula’s right hand.

Did I just feel her grip my hand weakly or was that just a reflex?

A laser began making a one-millimeter wide incision down Paula’s upper arm down to the below where a large section of bone was missing. The next cuts were horizontal cuts halfway around her arm, centered on the long incision. The lasers were so precise that they cut and cauterized the dermis without touching what remained of her shredded muscles. After carefully moving the muscles out of the way they inserted a fabricated piece of replacement bone scaffolding that they had 3D printed. Right before they cemented it into place, they filled the cavities with stem cells. Her bone cells would slowly consume and dissolve the scaffolding as the bone reformed. By all estimations, the bone marrow would regenerate completely in the next few weeks.

After the one set of robots fit and cemented in the pieces of replacement bone, others extended the incisions from her collarbone down into the palm of her crushed wrist.

This reminds me of all the sci-fi films where they would be printing new bones and tissues like in “The Ghost in the Machine” live-action movie, versus the original anime.

As I watched, they replaced destroyed tendons with ones they man-in-the-machine had grown using her stem cells. He had researched all digital information regarding growing replacement tenons and used the faster method. Each was nearly identical to the original. A small molecular change made them many times stronger than the original.

She is very fortunate that her crushed forearm didn’t destroy the tendons going into her hand.

Since it was reading my mind, the robotic camera zoomed in so that I was looking at what it said was the extensor pollicis brevis tendon going to her right thumb. A piece of bone from her crushed wrist had cut it in two. Four tiny robotic forceps now held the two halves together. I assumed they would request my assistance putting them back together. I was wrong.

What I can best describe microscopic sewing machines used tiny suture thread made the same slurry used to create the tendons but extruded through tinier orifices. They appeared no bigger than the fine hairs everyone had on their bodies. A tiny, few cells thick piece of replacement tendon went over both sides of the tear. They stitched that through all three layers on each side to hold it together. An injection of stem cells would aid in it healing naturally. This process repeated for every place where they had somewhere to reattach the newly grown tendons. Where there was no attachment point, they left the replacement tendon lightly attached to a piece of muscle or nearby tissue to await somewhere for it attach.

I guess it makes sense to have the tendons with a lot of extra length. It is easier to remove than sew more on.

With the tendons repaired, or replaced, the robots began working to locate torn pieces of muscle to stitch back together. I asked if they wanted me to assist as I had with other tissues, but I was informed that they were using a highly refined powder made from pig bladders. The powder is based on a powder that showed it regenerated the tip of a man’s severed finger and muscles a soldier lost to an IED. Anywhere they were able they would reconnect the muscle fibers back together. Their goal was to ensure she had enough muscle tissue in place for her to begin rebuilding muscle mass when she began her physical therapy. If the models proved correctly, she would be able to move her arms and legs enough to lift them off her bed. The powder, if it worked, would aid in rebuilding muscle mass quicker.

When the robots did all they could to repair an area, they changed out for other tiny robots. Each robot had tiny forceps they used to pull the skin down into the incision before flaring it up slightly to sew a layer through the epidermis before placing a row in the dermis followed by a row in the hypodermis. This created a nearly invisible line on par with how they do hidden seams in quilting. They began at her wrist and stopped when only half an inch remained. That was sutures from the inside out, versus the outside in as they did for the rest of the incision.

These robot surgeons make the high-priced, only available to the a-list movie stars, look like back alley hacks using buttonhole thread and a curved upholstery needle.

I found that the man in the machine had been refining this process for decades in hospitals where no one saw who, or what, did the actual surgeries or suturing. Who was going to question someone offering to update their hospitals with the latest available medical gear in exchange for allowing their surgical team, which charge nothing for their services, to do all elective or non-emergency surgeries? Whenever questions arose, they got a gentle reminder that they who giveth can taketh away. Some still insisted on questioning the gift horse, loudly. Those found their new equipment died, spectacularly, and the mystery surgical team gone. In fact, the entire surgical area become a disgusting, decrepit, rodent infested storage room that reeked of rotting human flesh. Few even considered asking any questions after that.

The best part of it for Paula what that the sutures were dissolvable. By the time that they had dissolved she would only have a thin pink scar that would fade over time.

“David she must be scarred. Many CT scans, x-rays, and MRIs are in her future. Their presence redirects those examiners from questing how we performed the repairs. Sadly, the most important area to remain scarred is her skull and the damaged brain tissue in the areas where they expect damage based on the injuries from the accident. You will rewrite those areas to an unused part of her brain. With the amount of damage to her body she will be relearning how to move as her muscles rebuild,” I heard in my earbuds from the triplets.

At least none of their sexual lust for me is feeding through into my brain or I’m filtering it out.

Having her cut open from the inside of her thigh to above her right ankle bone did allow the process to go much faster. I was able to show the robots where to place each bone fragment. They filled the gaps with the gel. They repaired or replaced any tendons before working on her muscles. While they had the access, the man in the machine inserted special scaffolding over the cartilage in her knees. Once they sewed her up, they will inject stem cells into the joint to rebuild the cartilage.

I don’t remember fixing her left leg or seeing them sew her back up. The next thing I remember was them making new incisions from the inside of her inner thigh up to her panty line, where they made a horizontal incision spanning from hip to hip. In the center they cut her open to just below her breasts and made another horizontal incision.

At some point they put me to sleep while they worked to put her pelvis and hip bones back together. During that time other robots checked over every organ in minute detail. The process was time consuming. When I woke it was only briefly to see her ovaries injected with hormones that caused her to ovulate from each one. My sperm was push into her fallopian tubes. Once both eggs we fertilized I was back asleep, only awakening to see the eggs implanted in her uterus. Showing to be viable, they removed them from her uterus to be frozen should she not be able to conceive again.

Is it still the same day or at least the same week?

I found myself in Trudy’s room. Her bones had almost knitted back together and she would be getting her casts off in about a week. That wasn’t why I was there. Trudy was going crazy without being able to do anything to get herself off. As her pain medicines wore off, she become more aroused. Not able to use her fingers to get herself off was driving her mad. The triplets tried their best to link into her mind while the three ate, finger banged her, and sucked on her nipples. Nothing sated her needs for long.

“David, what they did to me was amazing and felt better than anything I had felt before, but I just couldn’t cum. I need to feel your fingers on my clit. You have always known exactly how I have needed to be touched. I never told you and should have a long time ago. You made me cum as soon as you sat next to me on the bus the day we met. I came four more times on the way to school. I really did want you to fuck me up in your room that day. You don’t know how hard I came knowing that you didn’t slide into me because you knew I needed it, but didn’t need it at the same time,” Trudy told me.

I had barely rubbed her juices over her clit when she came so hard her juices ran out of her as her vaginal muscles squeezed her vagina closed tightly. I finger fucked her until her clit was ready to be rubbed off again. She was sound asleep when I felt my bare hands pushed into something that sanitized them.

I found myself in Crystal’s room sometime later. She was just as horny, but also on a lot of pain meds for her still mending bones.

Trudy was healing much faster than expected. Crystal still had a month before any casts could come off, but at least the robots were getting her on the toilet instead of her needing a catheter and bedpan. I told her how Trudy was doing. She wanted to know about Annie and Paula. I told her how Paula was still hit or miss right now. She still had a lot of brain damage, but they wanted to let her body heal more before they had me go try to repair more anymore of the damage inside her.

After I went through another of the showers to clean me off, and sterilize me, again, I was taken to Annie’s room.

“Is this heaven or some bad nightmare. You have David’s face, but not his body. Wow. I’m feeling so dreamy,” she said in her heavily medicated stupor.

I held her hand and then my synthesized voice told her, “I’m glad you are finally conscious Annie. I doubt you will remember me being here today. Your body is still trying to put itself back together after the accident. Paula has a long, long way to go. Get plenty of rest and let your body heal. We will have plenty of time to talk later.”

She was back out before I left the room.

For the first time since they encased me in the rubber suit. They took me to where Steve was doing his best to focus on his businesses and other activities. He was shocked as hell when he turned to see me.

I waited for him to be ready to talk and said through the speakers, “They have had me like this so that I could be with Paula in the place she is having surgeries. I have been working to try to get her back together the best I’ve been able. They have had to pretty much skinned her to replace missing parts of bones, replace tendons and stitch her shredded muscles back together. I don’t know how long ago it happened, but they made her ovulate and fertilized her eggs with my sperm. They allowed each to implant into her uterus and left there long enough to know that it was viable. The ova are now frozen should she be unable to conceive. No one has told me why I’m not back trying to do more repairs to her brain, but I’m sure they have a plan. All I know for sure is that I fixed enough that her heart is beating on its own, she is breathing by herself, and her organs are working as they should.”

When it was obvious Steve didn’t even know what to say to me, they wheeled me out.

I have no idea how much time had passed from when I talked to Steve and awakened to find myself experiencing orgasm after orgasm as I took the triplets to the moon and back. It was all in my head, but it was amazing.

That was nice. All of the pleasure and none of the mess. Was there a mess?

No, the voice in my head said.

The girls used their triplet speak to tell me how much they missed me. Even if they wouldn’t remember me when they left, each of them did feel a sense of loss they couldn’t explain. Not knowing where, or who I was, kept us all protected.

I woke again as the robot pushing me ran us through the acid skin peeler and then the dryer before we ended back at Paula’s cold steel table.

“Please check her over to ensure we have removed all fragments of bone and we made the proper repairs,” the man in the machine told me.

I made the place in my head see anything that had been a piece of bone, tendon, muscle, or any other tissue in her body that still needed to removal. I only found a few. Instead of having her need more holes poked into her, or have them unzipping her stiches, I carefully put a small shield around each tiny fragment and then pulled, or pushed, on it to get it to where the robots had made an opening for a feeding tube. Once the bone chips were gone I did the same for any loose tissues.

I’m not going to have anything floating around inside her that could cut her and make her bleed to death before anyone, or anything, knows about it.
