Prologue

Authors Notes: This is quite a different type of story for me. It is not science fiction or mind control, or fantasy, but then too it is a fiction story. It is a slow story with some sex, but no sex scenes, as that is not the prime interest here. It is a romance and there will be sex in it, but I am branching out into uncharted waters here, so I will need lots of feedback to let me know how this is working out. Thank you in advance for your patience.

This is the story of one Robert Harlan Rothman, born in Marfa, Texas about thirty years ago, raised by aging parents and when he graduated high school at 17, he wanted out of the oil towns and high plains desert and see the world. Things didn't always work out for Robert, but yet they did in the long run. I hope you enjoy my story. BR
