Jeremy and Megan have been going together for at least three years." I paused. "Officers, there is something bad going on. Another couple from this group suffered yesterday afternoon. He was killed and she is missing. These were all happy people. Jeremy and Megan were planning to marry before college next summer."

The two officers called for the medical examiner and for detectives to come out. They did not know how Jeremy could have been killed or Megan either. One of them looked like his stomach was rebelling at what he saw. I didn't blame him. I went inside to find Taylor sobbing with Rachel's arms around her. Everyone was in the living room.
