Mr. Furz has made a name for himself with his stories of inter-species relationships. These have been both amusing and enjoyable but are not, in the authors own words, 'to be taken too seriously'.
'Isobelle and Mr. Bete' is something quite different. Here is a well written story, with a good, well planned plot, credible characters and a few of those little twists that turn a good story into a very good story.
With this tale, Mr. Furz clearly stakes his claim to be taken seriously, when he chooses to write in this manner. Yes, there were a couple of typos. Even with a good editor, those are hard to avoid and in this case they do not detract from the enjoyment which this book provides.
Thank you Mr. Furz, may we have a few more like this?
Do read it, it is worth the time that you will spend. Anyone who is familiar with my reviews will know that I never review a book that badly written, has a poor plot or is offensive.
