There is nothing and then there is something. There is a blank page and then “The Godfather” is a transcendent film. The writing process is humbling, daunting, and magical. Here, my little version of ‘Godfather’ is “Four Corners.” Personal note: I’m comfortably retired. My wife is still speaking with me. None of our kids is in jail nor rehab, so we consider ourselves paragons of parenthood.
